IBCC also states that the GED examination must have been taken through an approved study centre in Pakistan and that a minimum two-year gap is required between the SSC/equivalent qualification and GED Diploma for equivalence consideration.

The GED assessment offers flexibility for learners who wish to complete their secondary-level qualification through an alternative route. In Pakistan, the GED test is available in English, and candidates may schedule the subjects individually rather than taking all four examinations at once.
